We have been attending rallies for a number of years, just to party and or marshal. The idea came from one of us once having to take a car to carry all the gear, arriving on site before the bikes then putting their tents up.We realised that it would be brilliant if we could all just turn up and party without having to worry about the tent. There you have it.
